It is not often that you will find a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 with those options and a white bucket seat interior that has a lot of originality too and looks as it did when it was new.

Chevelle’s are immensely popular cars and none are so much highly sought after as the 1970 model packing that big block 454 engine.

Mechanical

Under the hood of this 1970 Chevelle SS is a 454 cubic inch V8 engine painted in the correct Chevrolet factory orange paint with a lot of factory correct parts on it like the four-barrel carburetor, black with red accent valve covers and air cleaner, power steering and power brakes with factory front disc brakes, air conditioning, ceramic coated headers with Flowmaster mufflers, aluminum intake and cam and kit.

Add in the CCP Rear control arms, CPP springs and sway bar, CPP Tubular A-Arms, Front sway bar, QA-1 Adjustable coil over shocks, and the good grip of wide BF Goodrich Radial TA raised white letter tires mounted on the factory 5-spoke SS wheels and you get this big block which is a true driver’s machine.

Interior

The white bucket seat with headrest and matching rear seat interior looks as it did when it was original, everything looks correct and just like it came from the factory back in 1970.

It even has a stereo radio, great black factory dash housing the optional U14 round gauge package that includes the tachometer, accessory gauge package, chrome 4-speed shifter and ball in the center console, tri-spoke steering wheel, black carpet, white door panels, and rear seat.

The result is a Chevelle SS that feels like a time piece as it is in excellent condition top to bottom. The trunk is also finished and looks great.

Exterior

Our Chevelle is finished in stunning blue paint flowing over the cowl induction hood with the white SS stripes, super straight factory panels, blacked-out grille, rear panel, bulging fenders, and the fastback hardtop profile.

The chrome bumpers, wheel arch trim, Chevelle and SS 454 badging really look great and draw people to the car at shows or even gas stations, and even the chassis looks super clean too.
